On February 17, 2025, the WSOP organizers published the full schedule for the upcoming World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. A record number of events will be played, 100. All the details in our article

Record schedule

The World Series of Poker will be played at two casinos in Las Vegas, Horseshoe, and Paris for the fourth consecutive year, from May 27 to July 16, 2025. The schedule breaks the record for the number of events, 100, with buy-ins from $300 to $250,000.

This will be the first edition of the festival organized by the new owner of the WSOP, NSUS (GGPoker).

New features on the schedule:

  1. Opening tournament: #1 $1,000 Mystery Millions NLH. With a millionaire bounty and $1,000,000 guaranteed for the winner.
  2. $1,000 Battle of the Ages. Players under 50 can play on Day 1A; those over 50 can play on Day 1B. Starts June 22.
  3. The most expensive Omaha tournament in the series will be the $100,000 PLO High Roller. Starts July 1.
  4. $20,000 PLO/NLH. Starts June 2.
  5. $3,000 T.O.R.S.E., similar to H.O.R.S.E., but with 2-7 Triple Draw instead of Hold’em. Starts July 11.
  6. The “Casino Employees” tournament was renamed to “Industry Employees” and is now open not only to casino employees but also to poker bloggers.
  7. The Double Board Bomb Pot tournament would not have a mixed NLH/PLO format, but only Omaha. The WSOP 2025 schedule includes:
  • 49 events with buy-ins of $1,500 or less.
  • 30 tournaments with buy-ins of more than $10,000.
  • Three tournaments with six-figure buy-ins from $100,000 to $250,000.

If a player wanted to participate in all the tournaments in the series with only one bullet, he would have to invest $1,095,465.

The online tournaments will be announced later. Remember that in 2024, 30 bracelets were played for New Jersey, Nevada, and Michigan pools and seven more in Pennsylvania.
