Winning Event #56: $2,500 Mixed Triple Draw Lowball at the 2025 WSOP, Benny Glaser becomes the seventh poker player to win 3 WSOP bracelets in a single WSOP. With his win in Event #56: $2,500 Mixed Triple Draw Lowball at the 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP), Benny Glaser becomes the seventh poker player in history to win three bracelets in a single WSOP. To achieve the historic accomplishment of winning three WSOP bracelets in a single WSOP, Glaser had to compete with a competitive field upon arriving at the Event #56: $2,500 Mixed Triple Draw Lowball final table.

Along with four-time bracelet winner and Event #40: $5,000 Seniors High Roller winner David “ODB” Baker, Glaser also had to play through bracelet winner George Alexander, two-time bracelet winner Chris Klodnicki, and eventual heads-up opponent Schuyler Thornton.

After a series of quick eliminations at the final table, only Glaser, Thornton, and Alexander remained as they began a lengthy three-handed battle that lasted over four hours.

Despite starting three-handed play as the short stack, Glaser continued to battle and found himself heads-up with Thornton after the elimination of Alexander in third place ($90,139).

After successfully catching a bluff from Thornton, Glaser would take the chip lead and never looked back as he played his way to his third WSOP bracelet of the series and eighth of his career.

Speaking with PokerNews following his historic win, Glaser seemingly couldn’t believe the heater he was on. ““It feels outrageous, honestly. Three in one series. That’s so many in one series and it’s not even over yet. It’s unreal.”

Glaser joins list of WSOP Legends, eyes 2025 WSOP Player of the Year and chance of making more poker history

The seventh poker player to ever win three bracelets in a single WSOP series, Glaser joins the following list of poker legends who have also achieved the feat: Puggy Pearson (1973), Ted Forrest (1993), Phil Hellmuth (1993), Phil Ivey (2002), Jeff Lisandro (2009), and Scott Seiver(2024).

With plenty of events on the 2025 WSOP tournament schedule still to take place, Glaser is in prime position to not only win 2025 WSOP Player of the Year, but break the record for most bracelets won during a single WSOP.

Even if Glaser is unable to break the WSOP bracelet record this summer, he has already achieved the record for most career WSOP bracelets amongst all European poker players.

The 56th edition of the World Series of Poker has already seen history been made as poker players have joined the Seven Bracelet Club and even won multiple events during the first few weeks. Check out every poker player that has won a WSOP bracelet thus far at the 2025 World Series of Poker.
